From London Zoo to sunny Angola Cunningham Covers have done it all, and this article shows off just some of our interesting projects. In these difficult times all of us at Cunningham Covers are proud of what we do and are so humbled by the feedback we get from our clients, a huge thank you from all of us at Cunningham Covers to our faithful customers.

However, quickly realised that in winter we hardly – if ever – used it…because it was freezing out there!!!

We thought about how great it would be to use this outdoor area all year round despite the weather. The best solution we thought was pvc/canvas sides with windows to let the light in. We were’nt sure if this was possible….

We searched the web for ideas and suppliers and sent a few emails out. The next day we were contacted by a very helpful chap called David from Cunningham covers. His excellent knowledge and advise helped us produce a final design and drawings for what we wanted.

The final design was quite complex as it was required to fit like a glove around two large raised brick plant beds, two perimeter fences and over some stone steps. It also had three roll up doors and four windows.

A few phone conversations from David to confirm measurements and exact design features was all it took for them to manufacture it.

Within 5days we had received confirmation of completion and a text message to say it had been dispatched, then another to give a 2 hour delivery slot. It arrived bang on time!!

It fitted perfectly and works so well at maintaining the heat (we use patio heaters to heat the area) and we use it so much we have installed lighting and fitted carpets to the patio area beneath the pergola – its now an extension of our home and we eat all our meals out there – even in winter. The arrival of our daughter early last year has now turned it into her own private outdoor play area!!! She loves it…!!!

I have never taken the time to write a recomendation before – because – as my wife claims – i am such a perfectionist!!! And hard to impress.

However, because throughout the design and manufacturing process I was guided with such genuine interest and detailing and an “if you’re going to do it, take the time and do it right” attitude that I had to write my first.

The end product is far beyond expectations… And we would like to thank the whole team at Cunningham Covers for helping achieve this.

Made in our 900g heavy-duty architectural PVC fabric. Pre-stretched so it maintains good shape characteristics. The customer also designed a pulley system so the canopy could be opened quickly and effortless, and could be easily hidden away.
