The Role – Sewing Machinist
Improving Lives through the manufacture of Clever Protective Covers
- Follow order requirements from job cards and drawings
- Stitching using industrial single and double needle machines, automatics, binders and overlockers etc.
- Cutting, gluing and marking materials with tools
- Fabric assembly in line with order details
- Sewing a wide variety of fabrics from canvas to industrial strength PVC
- Manual lifting and packing/unpacking of materials when required
- Following company guidelines to safely operate equipment
Skills and Experience
Desirable
- Manufacturing, sewing, fabric assembly or textile cutting experience
Essential
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean, tidy and organised environment
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop skills with continuous on-the-job training

Working hours:
- Full-Time Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm, includes 5hrs at 1.5 times the hourly rate. 3pm finish last Friday of every month.
- No weekend or shift work.
Salary:
Starting salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
