The company recently relocated their factory operations and required a custom solution that was both functional and visually striking.

We talked to the company’s CEO, Simon Hunter, to understand why a Factory Partition Curtain was the required solution.
"I wanted to create a piece of art at scale. The reason I wanted to do that was because our factory had moved from one part of our building to another part of our building and it left a gapping hole, not just physically in the building but also from an energy perspective. It felt very different."
Factories and customer-facing spaces rarely integrate in such close proximity, so creating a practical yet captivating solution was a task we were excited to be involved with.

For Hunters, we worked with their team to finalise a design that incorporated their brands colours, patterns and identity. This approach not only helped enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area, but also curate a space to engage with customers, inviting them to learn more about the brand.
Working alongside Hunter Apparel Solutions, we discussed the importance of blending the factory partition into their existing space. Together, we successfully transformed the factory partition into an ‘Art Installation’, carefully blending creativity with craftsmanship. With fully customisable colors and designs, we were able to showcase their company logo and products together in a seamless and professional manner.
Safe & Flexible Factory Partition Curtains
Now we’ve discussed how we created curtains as an art installation, but it also serves to enhance operational efficiency.
Manufacturing factories are often large facilities with plenty of space, however, effectively utilising floor space must also be considered. This was specifically important for Hunters, having moved their factory from one section to another within in the same building. Here is where we highlight our factory partition curtains as a multi-purpose solution.
Factory Partition Curtains serve as an extremely practical solution for any business. As Simon explained, having moved the factory space internally, it changed the physical aspect of the area.
With the addition of a flexible yet physical barrier, it allows for a safer workspace for both employees and visitors. The redefined walkway ensures active work zones are easily identified when the curtain is open. For the team, this has become an integral part of enhanced workplace safety.

The partition curtains are manufactured with a high-quality, fire retardant and extremely durable 610gsm PVC material, designed to withstand the rigors of a busy factory environment. They are highly resistant to wear and tear, making them a long-lasting investment for Hunters.
The curtains also offer excellent sound insulation properties. The factory partition creates a physical sound barrier, helping reduce noise levels. This is not only important for creating a comfortable working atmosphere for employees, but buffers sound during client visits.

Fully Installed Factory Partition Solutions
For this project, our expert installation team took only 1 day to complete. Our experienced engineering team designed and installed a bespoke solution for the customer requirements. We produced this factory partition on a sliding rail system, creating enhanced functionality. The curtain can be opened or closed with minimal effort, yielding a seamless transition from busy factory floor to branded client walkways every time.
For additional securing, at both curtain ends we installed pole mounted ratchets to allow full tensioning of the material, mimicking the look of an art installation on a permanent wall structure. Unlike permanent walls, the installation causes minimal disruption to daily operations.
The final result is a versatile space which can be easily configured to accommodate various activities. We demonstrated that practical solutions do not have to be plain or dull! We can expertly combine bespoke manufacturing with stunning visual advertising to reimagine factory partition solutions.
Here are Simon’s thoughts on the finished result:
"On a personal level, I do take pleasure when I look at it every single time I walk past it. I'm proud of it! It's a nice representation of our brand but more specifically, I was thinking through the eyes of a customer coming to visit us how interesting it think it would look if I was them. So really, it's about the customer experience when they are coming here for the first time and it's their first walk through the building and the impression it makes. We knew of Cunninghams from before and had contracted them on a number of occasions for other industrial applications. So, we were already aware Cunninghams were very specialist and very professional and we had a very good sense of the fact they could do exactly what we needed. It was a seamless project!"
